INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY '23

International Youth Day, observed on August 12th every year, acknowledges the vital roles played by youth in various spheres of society and celebrates their exceptional achievements and contributions. In this article, we are highlighting the inspiring accomplishments of the students of Scholars Den, underscoring their dedication, innovation, and commitment to make a positive difference.

Our dear alumnus, Shakti Singh, who studied at Scholars Den in 2-year classroom program (2020-22) engineering batch, recently got selected among the top 10 participating teams for an innovative competition "Solve for Tomorrow" organized by Samsung. Solve for Tomorrow is on the lookout for ambitious 16–22-year-olds who can solve global issues with game-changing tech solutions. Shakti Singh came up with the idea of AR headset to provide more accessibility to individuals with hearing loss. AR headset can convert real-time speech to text and sign language conversion. We are proud of the positive purpose he carries. Shakti Singh is currently pursuing his B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing at IIT Delhi after upgrading his branch from Mathematics and Computing (Dual). Shakti recently visited Scholars Den, and he told just after meeting VT Sir, he got the message of the branch change which made him feel really lucky.

One of our dear alumni, Sanyam Saxena, secured AIR 872 in JEE(Advanced) 2020 and Rank 1 in UPSEE 2020. Sanyam Saxena secured 6th position in UP and 8th position in CBSE Dehradun Region (Maths: 99, Physics: 98, Chemistry: 98, English: 97, Physical Education: 100). Sanyam joined Scholars Den’s 2-year School Integrated Program. He got 99.9889 percentile in JEE(Main) but due to some health issues which got aggravated close to his exam, he couldn’t secure his desired rank and branch in JEE(Advanced) 2020. Sanyam is currently pursuing his B.Tech in Computer Science after upgrading his branch from Engineering Physics. He has also been the topper of his batch. We salute his spirit of not giving up on working hard.

Our beloved alumnus, Samkit Jain, who cracked JEE(Advanced) 2020 with AIR 28590, participated in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge and got the place in top talents. The top 3 spots were secured by the American and Dominican Republic teams. It's the most desired award after the top 3 spots. Samkit was a brilliant and enthusiastic student of Trailblazer Engineering(T2) 2020 batch at Scholars Den. The Project Review Award that Samkit got is the award for an innovative approach for designing and development. Samkit cracked BITSAT too and is currently pursuing his B.Tech from BITS Pilani.

Aman Bhandula, our brilliant student of Engineering Batch 2016 at Scholars Den, got AIR 6930 in JEE(Advanced) 2016 and studied Geological Technology at IIT Roorkee. Later, he decided to drop out and started his own venture Farmako with his friend Kaishu Sahu. Farmako Healthcare allows labs and clinics to use a centralized, digital system to share records with patients. Farmako Healthcare (YC S20) is based on the concept of tracking of centralized health documents. His company recently got funding of 1.5 Crore. Aman has also been featured in Forbes 30 under 30 Asia List 2022.

Aishwarya Agarwal, our dear alumna, secured 2nd rank among girls in UPSEE 2017 and 33rd rank in General Category. Aishwarya joined Scholars Den’s 3-year classroom program and secured AIR 3993 in JEE(Advanced) 2016 but dropped for top 500 rank. Again, due to bonus marks factor, she could secure AIR 1560 in 2017. She knocked at the doors of the Supreme Court for justice, which was denied not only to her but hundreds of others too (later Mr Vivek Thakur, MD, Scholars Den pursued the case of Bonus Marks in JEE-Advanced 2017 which brought many changes in the exams pattern afterward). Aishwarya kept her spirit high and started pursuing Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay. She invented a device which can help in cleaning the sanitary pads and reduce biomedical waste. Aishwarya always made us feel proud of her brilliance.

Prakhar Kumar Singh, our brilliant alumnus joined 2-year classroom program (2013-15) of Scholars Den and secured AIR 407 in JEE(Advanced) 2015. He completed his further education from IIT Roorkee. Prakhar was also the topper of class 12th CBSE Board in Moradabad region. Prakhar made us proud by securing the prestigious rank, AIR 29 in UPSC 2021 in his first attempt.

These excellent achievements of our students show, not just in academics but beyond academics, they've embarked on impactful initiatives which exemplify their versatility and potential. Their achievements reflect the spirit of Scholars Den's commitment to raise well-rounded individuals. Here's to their constant hard work, sincere dedication, and the bright future they are creating! Happy International Youth Day!
