IITs SEATS AVAILABILITY FOR 2024 : PROSPECTS AND CHALLENGES
Indian
Institutes of Technology (IITs) have gained a reputation for producing
world-class engineers and top-most personalities like Sundar Pichai, N. R.
Narayana Murthy, Raghuram Rajan and
many more. Securing a seat in one of
these prestigious institutions is a dream for many aspirants. However, this
dream is no cakewalk; to get admission into IITs, one has to crack the
most competitive entrance exam Joint
Entrance Examination (JEE).
Every year, lakhs of
students put their knowledge, skills and perseverance to attempt this exam to
secure seats at the IITs. To qualify, candidates must excel in JEE (Main),
followed by JEE (Advanced), showcasing their prowess in Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry.
However, there are always a limited number of seats available at the IITs. For the year 2024, IITs have a total of 17,385 seats available. Also, each IIT has its own way of deciding how many students they can take in and some courses are more popular than others. This can make it a bit complicated for both the students applying and the IITs themselves.
Every year, lakhs of students head to Kota to prepare for IITs and NEET but the high-pressurized environment of Kota has led to anxiety, depression and self-harm activities recently. This is a deeply concerning situation for India. An institute must develop a healthy environment where the issues of each student can be addressed and keep close eyes on their daily activities. Unfortunately, due to commercialization, this essential aspect is often overlooked.
Moradabad’s Scholars Den is an institute
which is working with the ideology of focusing on the overall development of
students. Scholars Den doesn’t follow a factory-mode approach to education, where
the sole focus is on exam strategies and shortcuts. SD’s primary goal is the
holistic development of students, not pushing them into the rat race for high
ranks. Scholars Den provides
a nurturing learning environment created within its campus, keeps checking on
students’ regular activities and prevents them from going on wrong path. This
is why students of Scholars Den consistently outperformed those who have undergone
coaching in centers like Kota, Delhi and Hyderabad when it comes to achieve a
happy mental state along with achieving academic excellence.
With a 10-year legacy,
it has produced 171 IITians, including 2 in BITS and sent many students to
NITs, IIITs and other esteemed engineering colleges across India. Also, in just
four years, its NEET Wing has achieved remarkable results, with 109 students
qualifying the NEET exam with impressive scores.
Scholars Den is not just an educational institution; it's a platform
dedicated to the holistic growth of its students. With a mission to empower
individuals to realize their career dreams and fulfillment, Scholars Den goes beyond
traditional education.
